Testimonies

Pray the Perimeter on August 8, 2021 was a fantastic time!  All of the routes were signed up for and so many participated!  Below are faith building testimonies of what God did during and through the event.

I had a wonderful time off intercession for the body of Christ all the way down I-25. Before CO Springs there was a digital sign on the road that said, "Driving in the Gap?   You can't afford to speed ".   So I really took that as the Lord telling me not to speed while I drove and I didn't I want the speed limit the whole way.
I don't think I've ever spoken in tongues for so long in all my life.  It was a wonderful time of speaking in tongues and praying for the land and churches in so many places along the way. Asking for Gods light and healing to come.   It was wonderful and I feel so privileged to be a part.   At one point a bald Eagle was flying next to me and I prayed for our nation as well as CO.

Thank you so much for putting the Pray the Perimeter together.

We felt great peace as we were doing our prayer drive.  We felt like the chains were falling off of the oppressed. The Lord led me to take the route we did.  I feel like our eyes were opened to the need for continued prayer for Colorado and helping set the captives free.

It further inspired us to pick back up prayer walking in our own community.  I believe this event was a total God thing and will help usher   revival in Colorado.

Thanks again for organizing that time, Heather!

The key items that stood out for us were:

Blessing Creation from a Romans 8 place

Blessing young people to live under an atmosphere of heaven where their sonship would bring perfect love that would cast out fear

Blessing the finances of our state-especially over young families

Blessing that Colorado's boundaries have fallen in pleasant places

Blessing that the State officials would be driven by connection instead of control

First, thank you so much for initiating and coordinating this opportunity for intercessory prayer and worship! I wanted to share a testimony of the experience in response to your email.

My husband and I wanted to drive and pray a perimeter around the entire Denver Metro area, were not able to find co-laborers, and were almost deterred by the heavy smoke and poor air quality; but we felt led to go anyway. We covered 159 miles from I-70 Exit 254 to Golden to Boulder and past CU campus to Brighton to DIA to Watkins south to Lincoln Ave. and then west through Meridian, Highlands Ranch, etc. to C-470 to Morrison to Evergreen and back to where we had begun. We left right about at 1:00 and closed the perimeter at 5:25 (Grace to Grace). So often during the journey appropriate words, verses, psalms, or songs came at the right moments to match the locations. (e.g. During a pause by DIA praying that testimonies of the Lord’s goodness will go out from Colorado to the nation and the nations, on our background CD came Psalm 46, verse 10: “Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth,”) As we headed around the curve after Evergreen into the last little stretch, in front of and above us soared first 3, then 5, then 7 golden eagles! At the same time, a song came on a worship CD I’d never played, and it was “Celebrate the Child Who is the Light”! “Now the darkness is over!” Praise God Who hears our prayers! Seven = complete; perfection. “It is finished!” said Yeshua on the Cross. He is pouring out His Spirit. He will bring the young out of addictions, depression, anxiety, despair and into His Light! God is soooooooo good! Seven soaring golden eagles near the finish line was more than we possibly could have imagined! It is amazing when He speaks to us! He is faithful! Praise Father, Son, and Holy Spirit!!!

My prayer route with Pray The Perimeter went very well and included a divine appointment with a church elder in South Fork.  My prayers were directed toward regeneration And restoration for farmers, ranchers, the land and people of God.

A ring of God’s holy fire was ignited along the border statewide to burn inward to the state center. ..releasing the manifest presence of God in blessing after blessing in every Colorado community.

It was an honor to pray the perimeter with so many others.  We went to church in Steamboat that morning and as we headed out I immediately felt a rush of joy and anticipation. I perceived the readiness of the Holy Spirit and it was exhilarating!

There were two impressions I received at the onset. One was a sense of covering over the entire state…This prayer covering was for protection and a sense that we were creating space for Kingdom activity in the midst of the warfare that is over our nation right now. The second was that we are establishing an authority to take down the strongholds over our state much like the walls of Jericho.

II Corinthians 10:4 NIV ~ The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.

As I drove out of Steamboat I felt a burden for the young people in our state. I prayed that God would save this generation. I prayed against anything and everything that would rob their destiny. I blessed their spirit with hope and a Kingdom perspective.

I began to intercede for families. For the culture in families. For the restoration of a Kingdom culture…In families, in the schools, in business and in the government.

I felt lead to pray Isiah 58: 11 -12 NIV ~  The Lord will guide you always, he will satisfy your needs in a sun scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well - watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail. Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age - old foundations, you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls, Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.

Make it so Lord!

We prayed for youth to find their purpose and that they would find their true identity. We prayed for parents to give them a home that they would feel safe and sit around the dinner table and have a place to communicate. We prayed for Christian teachers to have favor to minister to their students.

We prayed that Evolution would not be tolerated any longer as a curriculum. We prayed that students would realize they were created by a loving creator that had a purpose for them. We also prayed against the gender and racial Equity teachings that are trying to be brought into the school system.

We prayed that Christian after school programs would be in every school. We prayed for students, teachers, and parents to make a stand in their school against all the things that are causing division and confusion in these students lives. We prayed that the schools would teach reading writing and arithmetic once again and leave the parents job to the parents.

We prayed many other things! It was an awesome time. We drove from Loma to Rangely and prayed the whole time. On the way back we just sang worship songs.

It was a joy to be part of Pray the Perimeter.

Thanks for the opportunity,  Rennae  (praying in western CO)

Prayer Drive August 8, 2021

Thank you for this opportunity to join in this much needed prayer over our state and capital city. I hope to make sections of this route, part of my Sunday drive after church. It opened my eyes to see so many homeless in the Denver Metro Area, and the number of houses flying the homosexual flag.

I drove by and encircled many schools, binding and breaking the spirit of abuse, depression, anxiety: drug/alcohol/substance abuse, sexual abuse, physical abuse, emotional and psychological abuse. Releasing Peace in our schools, the healing power of God’s Love, personal relationship with Jesus. Prayed for focus to pay attention to their education, finish school and become vital contributors to society.

Denver Health Medical Center Campus – Healing, Health, Wholeness-Spirit Soul and Body.

State Capital, Denver Civic Center, etc. Prayed for decisions to be made that line up with Godly principles, Righteousness in our government, and a recovery of our economy.

Pray the Perimeter has been a real faith journey for me, starting around 5 years ago when I sensed the Lord giving me the idea.   How amazing to get the notice the Friday afternoon before the drive that all the routes were signed up for – yay God!  He’s so faithful!  My family and I had a great time driving our route Sunday afternoon.  Our three young kids all prayed and read worship psalms, and we prayed together as a family.  After praying while driving our route, felt like my husband and I were getting warmed up, so we kept praying most of the way home (since we don’t live right on the border).   Many things were prayed about, significantly that young people and others would be set free from drug abuse and addiction, and other things on the prayer guide.

So thankful to God for letting us partner with Him in prayer, it’s humbling and amazing.

May His kingdom come in Colorado!
